I had fun coming up with today's outfit but I feel I should issue two warnings about it. First of all, as you can see on the picture below, the back of the mesh shorts is a hole, so be careful to pair it up with something else. Or leave it as is, it has a cute bow over your bum!

The second warning is about the awesome hood I'm wearing. I luff it but it was almost impossible to find hair for it aside from the one I am wearing for this blogpost.

Unless you live in a pineapple under the sea under a rock, you are already well aware of the opening of Glam Affair/Tableau Vivant's new sim and all the goodies they have there (otherwise, head here). I went to check it, out of curiosity (and because my friend Bunny did an awesome review of the new skins that had me drooling) and left with a new skin...

I stick to one skin, so I am sad to part with my Plastic one that I have had for a while, but the new Lucy skin really, really did it for me! *rubs her face all over it*

Back on the Streets

So first of all, I have to confess that every time I use the expression "The Streets" I think of this. I know, not really gangsta, right?

And yes, I have finally gotten Esmeralda back outside after her recovery time! She is still pretty beat and bandaged up but the bruises have faded and she can walk at least.

Of course, the second she put a foot on gang's turf a full blown gun fight ensued, making her regret she decided to wear heels for the first time!

Day thee of Esmeralda recovering from the fight and I am still having fun with the clothes I don't get to wear as often. Especially with this cute chainsaw from Epic. I originally saw it on Louise Marsault's blog and loved it! So when I stumbled upon it while at Stalkerazzi I couldn't resist buying it! It's very cute and even has little sparkles ^.^

The title of this post fits this outfit but it is inspired by Tobuscus' new song, Get Bloody, a parody mixing the game Happy Wheels and Get Lucky from Daft Punk. If you don't know Tobuscus yet I recommend his videos 100%! The guy is hilarious!

Monday's Meme - Memeception

So the Monday Meme Strawberry offered to do this week was so fun that I couldn't resist doing it. Two weeks in a row! I might become a proper blogger yet! Anyhoo, I'll get back to the meme later on but first let me explain my outfit today.

You might have gathered from my last post that Esmeralda got hurt in a recent roleplay so I am having her recover at home and therefore, not really roleplaying. Which means I don't have to dress up with my usual urban style! One exploration of my 'New Stuff' folder later to get the things I don't usually wear and... Voila! This outfit :D

I tried to stick with a space kinda theme, to fit the meme I was going for but I was kinda enthusiastic!

Moving and landscaping

Today was a busy day! A new sim opened in Crack Den and my friend and I ended up getting a plot there. We live together already, but the old sim and the new one have very different types of landscape, so I couldn't simply drop our old house and garden in the new place. As a result I spent the whole day landscaping and I'm quite happy with the result.

It's not as cute as before because the new sim is bayou/swamp themed, but I think it looks good. I'll probably put some pictures on my Flickr in the coming days :)

Oh and the sim still has plenty of free plots! The roleplay in Crack Den is awesome AND we could be neighbors, what more could you ask for?

Monday Meme - Inventory Madness!

It's been a while since I have done one of the Monday Meme from Strawberry so I thought I'd give it a try this week. The one Strawberry posted today is regarding windlight settings, but since most of the ones I use are actually hers, I thought I'd go dig around for one of the old ones she posted and I didn't get to do.

So without further ado, I give you... The inventory challenge!

Now, those who know me know that I keep a pretty tight ship inventory wise (which is strange considering how messy my apartment can get in comparison in RL), so I couldn't pass up the chance to post my version of this meme.

What is your current inventory number? 10 750 item - I inventory clean very often! I recently got rid of all the non mesh clothes I had except for a few tops that go well under mesh jackets and some outfits/avatars that still look good.

If you had to delete your whole inventory and could only keep one thing, what would it be? I think it would be a customized bear someone did for me :)

What is the last thing you purchased? Clothes! Gah! Like most in SL I have the shopping bug, but I try to rein it in with a 'New Stuff' folder where I put all the new things I purchased so I can wear them at least once before sorting them in my inventory. I try to have the folder grow smaller before I allow myself to go shopping again. Of course some things are hard to resist (*cough* Arcade *cough* Fameshed *cough*)

Which item do you wear most often? I think if I had to go for the oldest I have owned and worn on my avatar it would be the Devol tattoo I always wear. That store did amazing tattoos and I'm so happy I bought this one so many years back. It has been on my avatar forever!

When you search for the word penis, how many items pop up? (NO LYING!) Now this comes as a shock to me, but only one item pops up! My amazing Aircraft Penis! *gives it a spin and flies away from this post LIKE A BOSS!*

Thug Life

A few days ago Esmeralda got a surprise from her girlfriend in character: a puppy! We both had so much fun roleplaying the puppy that we decided we actually wanted one and that's how we found ourselves at A.I.F to get a squeals worthy husky puppy.

Esmeralda decided to call him Thuggy because of the Thuglife statue she bought for their home and that her girlfriend wants her to get rid of. Vengeance is best served in the form of an adorable puppy!
