The hangover

I can cross off the thought of ever selling my liver to the black market; after last night it is not worth anything! Still, the party was awesome even if my friend's apartment will never be the same.

So, I'm back in the studio! But shooting pics with a different windlight since the other one gives me well defined shadows and it would be even more obvious that my shadows are borked.

I haven't had a reply from the Jira yet so hopefully it comes soon, I miss my pretty shadows!

The annoyed blogger

I really like this top, not only because it's cute but also because it has a French saying on it: "Crème de la Crème". Literally it translates to "Cream of the Cream" and it stands for having the best of the best. You'll usually hear that saying being used in reference to a party and the people attending it.

Of course we have a more common saying which we think is really hype: "Top of the Pop" but sadly, even though it's in English, I think we are the only ones using it.

Some time when I'm working on a blogpost or pictures there will be a random association of things that simply leave me in awe. Taking the example of the picture below: I was just scrolling randomly through my poses to get another angle for my outfit and my posestand falls upon that one. Already, the pose with the shoes I'm liking the odds and ready to snap a pic, and just when I do my avatar closes her eyes creating the mood below.

Hiding in the shadows

Today my character is in hiding and acting a bit paranoid, so I had to come up with an outfit that was quite simple and still would help hide her face and.... tada!

I actually have a folder of my new purchases that I call "New Stuff" and I make a point of at least wearing those once before I sort them in my inventory. As it turns out, that corset from (red) Mint and mask from R3volt have been in there for a while, not because I do not like them, but because considering my character's personality it was hard to come up with an outfit where they could be worn.

However, I think it works in this case!

My first Monday Meme!

So lately I have been reading the blog from the amazing Strawberry Singh, and aside from some awesome tutorials, that I plan to make full use of, she gives memes/themes for bloggers every Mondays.

This Monday it's all about answering some weird questions, so here goes!

1. Which was the last sim you visited? Crack Den - When I am online I either shop, take pictures, roleplay or take pictures while I roleplay! It's very fun sim and I really enjoy all the stories you can create there.
2. Does your avatar look like the real you? More now than before! Esmeralda used to be black skinned, but when I changed to the new line of skin from Plastik the darker tones didn't fit (which is normal, the skin I'm wearing is supposed to be a fantasy skin, not especially meant to be worn by a "normal" avatar). I'm blond with green eyes (at least one eye on my av is the same!) and she has the same small and upturned nose that I have. Otherwise the piercings, tattoos, height and amazing figure without working out... Those are all firmly anchored in fantasy!
3. Do you wear underwear/panties underneath your clothing when out and about on the grid? No and I refuse to ever wear those! Women of Second Life let's all burn our underwear and dance naked around the bonfire! We are free! FREE I TELL YOU!                                         And also I'm too lazy to remember to wear those
4. If you won a million linden dollars, what would be the first thing you buy inworld? Sadly, I'm a bit of a shopaholic, so everything that I want I usually already own... It's a sickness I know, I'll get the treatment. Where can I buy it?
5. Have you ever bought something in SL and then realized afterwards that you had already owned it from before? Not yet! I actually try to always keep my inventory under 10K because I am a complete control freak... But, as a result, I'm usually quite aware of what I have in my inventory.
6. Have you ever done anything in Second Life that would be considered illegal in real life? Well... Esmeralda in Crack Den is part of a gang, so yes that happens quite often! For example, the other day she tried to rob the town butchery for some cash and a salami. Turns out that the owner was slightly psycho so it did not end well for poor Esmeralda! She didn't even get the salami...
7. If you could go out on a date with any other avatar, who would it be? I'd have to go with Louise Marsault, simply because she has amazing style and I will try to steal it during the date!
8. Who, in your opinion, was the greatest avatar to ever slive? Aisuru Reiko
9. What is the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done inworld? I don't have a big one in mind, but the most recent one was while I was in Elephante Poses. I was camming around the sim, trying to find the single poses and I jumped on a posestand from across the sim. Turns out the owner was actually redoing the store and I had just very rudely highjacked the posestand she was working on! Thankfully she was very nice when I apologized!
10. If your avatar had a mind of its own, what do you think it would say to you? "What's up with you and stockings?"

Rad Parmesan

As some of you might notice there have been a few changes on the blog! Mainly the name and banner but both are linked. 

I came up with the name Faun and French when I was going to write this blog with a faun friend of mine. Sadly, that's not in the cards anymore and while I am still French, I've never been much of a faun, so the blog title didn't fit anymore.

So... does that mean Rad Parmesan fits me more? Hell yeah! I've always wanted to have a cool sidekick and what's cooler than a rad piece of parmesan? NOTHING!

More seriously, I was looking for a blog name with the letters RP (because that is what I mostly do in SL) and Rad Parmesan was the first thing that popped into my mind. Welcome to my brain.
